Joe Burrow has perfect reaction to season 2020 college football that may have been canceled

It looks more and more like the 2020 season of college football will be canceled.

While that may be what is best given what the coronavirus is capable of, it will still be a brutal day for the sport and the many athletes who play it.

Joe Burrow knows this better than most.

Continuing in the 2019 season at LSU, Burrow was considered more of a game manager with limited NFL potential. But in what was just his second full season of college football, Burrow would take the sport by storm, leading LSU to a 15-0 record, winning the Heisman Trophy, and claiming the national championship while being one of the greatest seasons had college player ever had.

Now, imagine if the 2019 season canceled. What would have become of Burrow? Would he even be in the NFL now?

That’s a reality that Burrow says could have been very real if he hadn’t been a senior.

Fortunately, Burrow had his final season and is now set to lead the Bengals in the 2020 NFL season, which is still expected to happen.

If there’s a scenario where college football can be played while players stay safe, it’s hoping that way.
