The site’s traffic on the last day of the convention exceeded its traffic on the day of the 2018 midterm elections, Biden’s campaign said.

“We have re-intimidated and rediscovered our convention to reach, engage and mobilize Americans everywhere while showing the positive, hopeful, and courageous vision for Joe Biden for the country,” said Biden Campaign Manager Jen O’Malley Dillon in a statement. “Our convention sent an overwhelming message to the millions of Americans who participated throughout the week: vote, vote, vote.”

The most viral moment of the convention has been a two-minute speech by Brayden Harrington, a 13-year-old boy who stutters. Biden’s campaign said other moments included average Americans – including 11-year-old Estela Juarez, whose mother was deported; a New York Times security guard who met Biden in an elevator and officially nominated him Tuesday night; and Kristin Urquiza, whose Trump-backed father died of coronavirus – were among those who garnered the most media attention.
