Jim Carey will no longer play B biden on SNL.

Kerry will no longer play the president-elect on “Saturday Night Live,” the comedian announced on Twitter on Saturday.
“Even though my tenure was only for weeks and weeks, I was thrilled to be elected as your SNL president … the high duty of KD Madi. Carey tweeted. “I’d like to move on knowing that Biden was the winner because I nailed that S ***. But I’m the only one in the long line of pride fighting SNL Bidens!”

Carey played Biden for six episodes on various NBC shows this season. His sketches typically featured Telek Baldwin as President Trump and Maya Rudolph as his running mate, Kamala Harris.

The decision to terminate his role as Biden was Carrie’s choice, according to a source close to the show. Sources said Carey only planned to play the role of a candidate in the election, and that living in Los Angeles would make it difficult for him to travel back and forth for the show in the long run.

“SNL.” It has not been announced who will play Biden in the upcoming show.

Biden was a surprise choice to play when the show announced that he would be playing his role in September.

For starters, Carrie is a “SNL.” No cast member, and others have played Biden in the past, including Woody Harrelson and former cast member Jason Sudekis.

Kerry’s performance was remarkable and attracted a lot of attention on the show, but eventually some critics received mixed reviews, saying that despite Kerry’s humorous talent, his Biden impression was being lost.

In October, Vanity Fair wrote, “It sounded like a great match at first. There was a big time star here who could balance Alec Baldwin’s Trump balance. But even after three episodes, Carrie still couldn’t get through it.” “It’s probably a physical artist or a much-needed shaman to catch the curiosity of a former vice president.”
L.A. The Times wrote in November that “despite the pilot’s spectacles, silver hair and the ‘deal here’ phrase, Gregory Carey has had to crack down on Biden’s behavior at the national level this year – deliberately, in a controlled and understated manner.”

“Saturday Night Live” returns for a new episode on Saturday night. Kristen Wieg will host the musical guest, Dua Lipani.
