Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper have thrown cold water on hot rumors that they built a bubbly romance after admitting they were just longtime friends.
Fans of the Hollywood stars will remember the pair as co-stars on the hit spy drama Alias by JJ Abrams back in the early 2000s – where 48-year-old Jen played CIA agent Sydney Bristow while the 45-year-old Bradley journalist friend Will played Tippin.
Tongues, however, have been wavering in recent weeks after the couple were spotted on the beach in California after they both split from their respective love interests.
Jennifer was spied on Wednesday on the beach in Malibu, where she, along with Bradley and his three-year-old daughter Lea De Seine, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk, 34.

While Jennifer reportedly broke up with 42-year-old businessman friend John Miller one day earlier, after two years of romance.
A source told US Weekly of Jennifer and Bradley’s beach hangout: “They are friends and have been forever.”
While another source told TMZ: “[Cooper and Garner] are friends and have been forever … [there is] no truth to anything else. “

Jen is thought to have split from John after sharing “very friendly terms”.
In 2018, Jennifer praised her friend Bradley when she honored him at the 32nd American Cinematheque Awards.
She yelled, “Those of us who knew him then celebrated his victories big and small.
“There’s something about people who are the same in success and failure that makes us love them and tells us we know their whole heart.”

And, after joking that the two bond when they first welcomed him into Hollywood by cooking him up, she added, “I know Bradley Cooper’s heart and stomach.”
Bradley split in 2019 from Russian model lover Irina after four years together.
While Jen divorced Ben Affleck in 2018 after 13 years of marriage – he was previously married to actor Scott Foley between 2000 and 2004 – after splitting in May 2003 – and dating Alias co-star Michael Vartan between late 2003 and mid-2004.
