Jennifer Aniston shared the personal story of a friend who deals with COVID-19 in an effort to encourage people to wear masks and take the pandemic seriously.

In the title of the image, Aniston notes that the photo was taken in April during his serious battle with COVID-19 despite being in good health. She shared that he has recovered since then.
“This is our friend Kevin. Perfectly healthy, it is not an underlying health problem. This is Covid. This is real ”, the star began her legend. “We can’t be so naive as to think that we can escape this … if we want this to end, and we do, right? The only step we can take is PLEASE #wearadamnmask. “

“I understand that masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable. But don’t you think it’s worse for companies to close … jobs are being lost … healthcare workers are coming to complete exhaustion? And this virus has taken many lives because we are not doing enough, ”she shared about an image of herself wearing a black mask on June 30.
“I really believe in the basic goodness of people, so I know we can all do this. BUT still, there are many people in our country who refuse to take the necessary steps to flatten the curve and stay safe. People seem concerned about their “rights taken away” by asking them to wear a mask. This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of people’s lives. And it really shouldn’t be a debate. “
