Jeep has been releasing preview images of the Grand Wagonier concept vehicle before its official launch on September 3rd.

Jeep’s future direction will be unveiled next week with the introduction of two new SUVs: a concept version of the revived Grand Wagonier and a hybrid electric version of the brand’s flagship Wrangler SUV.

Vehicles are expected to participate in the mainstream and luxury large SUV segment. Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley, who was leading the Jeep brand in 2016, said the top end could reach the top of the Grand Wagonier 100,000.
It is unclear whether the Grand Wagonier, which was last built in 1991, will be a different model or the Wagonier’s high-end trim, which was discontinued in 1983.
On Friday, a company spokesman declined to comment on prices or the status of long-awaited vehicles.
The revival of the Grand Wagonier – known for its wooden paneling – was first confirmed in 2011 by the late Manly’s predecessor, Sergio Marchione. Since then, the vehicle has been delayed several times due to production plans and other problems.
