Here comes the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. On Friday, the markets official Twitter account snoop a few new photos on the internet, and these two are all about the details.
The first photo shows the new badge of the SUV, which looks really classy, if we can say so. The font looks almost in one sentence throwback, and right next to it sits an American flag. It all does have a golden finish, even what we typically don’t see these days.
A second photo shows a start-up fixture of the button and gives us a small taste of the cabin of the SUV. There is some wood grain present alongside other materials. To the right we can start to see a button, probably for the infotainment system.
And that’s it. Teasers are teasers, after all, but it is more than what we got last week. Despite the flashes of info, we have an idea of what to expect from the Grand Wagoneer as it bends.
It will arrive as a flagship SUV for the Jeep brand and prices could crawl to $ 100,000 in top trims. We will also see a standard Jeep Wagoneer, which should be a little less luxurious and possibly shorter than the Grand Wagoneer. Both will likely sit on the Ram 1500’s chassis, leaving a lot of choice for drive open. There will probably also be a plug-in hybrid version.
Based on Fiat Chrysler Automobile’s presentation of the second quarter of the second quarter, we should see that both SUVs will start rolling the assembly next year next year. Only then will we know if they are the Ford Expedition, GMC Yukon and others on notice.
