One of the protesters who was shot in the chaos on Interstate 225 in Aurora was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The other protester who was injured appeared at the hospital with a grazing wound, the Aurora Police Department tweeted that night.
A woman who also appeared to dodge the Jeep fell 20 feet from the highway while escaping to safety, witnesses said.

The shooter is now being sought, who witnesses say opened fire to stop the Jeep.
A Jeep driver and passenger were detained after police later located and towed the vehicle. Neither has been identified.
The protesters, after the highway protest in Aurora ended in chaos on Saturday night, also smashed windows in the local courthouse, where an office fire also started, police said.
An illegal assembly was declared and the police ordered the protesters to leave the area, authorities said.
Tensions have escalated in recent protests against racial injustice since federal officials were dispatched to quell the protests in Portland, Oregon. Police also declared riots in Seattle on Saturday.

Rosenblatt, who was one of three Aurora police officers involved in McClain’s fatal arrest, participated in the photos, but was fired after receiving them in a text message and responding, ‘HaHa.’

Aurora’s acting chief Vanessa Wilson publicly released the photos for the first time, showing Jones pretending to put Dittrich in a chokehold while Marrero looks and laughs.
All three officers were on duty and in uniform at the time.
They were taken two months after McClain, 23, an animal-loving massage therapist who learned to play the guitar and violin, died after police detained him in a choke on August 24.
“We are ashamed, we are sick and angry,” Chief Wilson said at a press conference on Friday. “While the accusations in this internal affairs case are not criminal, it is a crime against humanity and decency.”
