Everyone assumes that Cam Newton, if he’s healthy, will be the starting quarterback for the New England Patriots. And that’s fair, since the 2015 MVP is a much more proven product than sophomore Jarrett Stidham.
Well, former Patriots quarterback and current 98.5 Sports Hub personality Scott Zolak is driving a different narrative.
“I think Jarrett will be the starter, of the people I’ve spoken to,” Zolak said during Tuesday’s episode “Zolak & Bertrand.” “People I trust, players, people connected to the team, team captains. The way they talk about Jarrett Stidham and the work he’s done.
The #Patriots are Cam Newton’s team now … right? Not so fast 👀

Make of it what you want.
Zolak is not an NFL “reporter”, per se, but he clearly has connections to the Patriots and his words should not be ignored.
