If Janet Yellen gets Senate confirmation to become Biden’s Treasury Secretary, she will have a dramatic drop in income.
After leaving the Federal Reserve in 2001, and since serving as its chairman since 2001, Yale has reportedly made more than million 1 million as a speaker from Wall Street companies and other corporations.
According to Politico, Yale received about $ 1 million from the city alone after giving nine speeches to the bank.
Other companies offering large sums of money for Yellen’s words of wisdom include Goldman Sachs Sash, Google, Citi National Bank, UBS, Citadel LLC, Barclays and Salesforce, the report said.
Yale gave a total of more than 50 speeches to companies, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

Meanwhile, he plans to resign from a position with Australia’s Magellan Financial Group if he is confirmed for a Treasury job, the journal report said.
Politico said in the report that Yellen’s announcement would also cause trouble for congressional Democrats. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. Who called Yale an “excellent choice” to lead the Treasury.
