Jamal Williams, Kamal Martin will not play in ‘TNF’ due to high risk contact identification

Contact tracing has identified two additional Green Bay Packers that will not be suitable for Thursday night football.

Running back Jamal Williams and linebacker Kamal Martin were identified as close contacts at high risk of running back AJ Dillon, who was found to be a Covid-1 positive after returning from a test on Sunday. Reported Tom Pelisero of the NFL Network. According to NFL-NFLPA protocol, none of the three will be able to play in Green Bay’s prime-time contest with San Francisco.

Per Palesero, the Packers have not received any new positive tests since Monday’s round of the Covid-19 test.

Dillon’s positive COVID-19 test was taken during a preliminary test on Sunday, but Green Bay could not get its result until Monday. Dill played 14 quicks in the Packers’ defeat of the Minnesota Vikings, while Williams played a total of 60 quicks and Martin 44 quicks.

As a disappointment, Enrof Network insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Aaron Jones (calf) drive back on Thursday is pessimistic. The current plan seems to be going against Tyler Erwin and Dexter Williams with 49 people, the report added.

In related COVID-19 news, the Baltimore Ravens have no new positive tests per Monday, from the round of testing, per Palisro. In the same fashion as Devlon was tested positive by Ravens Cornb Marc Marlon Humphrey, he played a feat of losing to Pittsburgh of Bittimore 54 before learning that the Covid-19 was positive Monday.

Closer contacts to Humphrey are still being restricted, Who will not play against Indianapolis in Week 9.
