Jake Paul is NOT back from his upcoming boxing match with NBA star Nate Robinson despite the mysterious FBI investigation with him, TMZ Sports has learned.
Indeed, our sources say that Jake is focusing on the fight to help keep his mind out of order while it all plays out.
Paul vs. Robinson was initially put on September 12 on the underdog of the big one Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. fight on Triller … although reports say the date will be postponed until Nov. 28.
We did some digging to find out if Jake’s legal situation had anything to do with the new date – and as one source put it, “Right now, Jake Paul is still confirmed. Don’t wait for that to change.”
As we reported earlier, the FBI raided his home in Calabasas on Wednesday – seized multiple firearms from the residence.
Officials say the investigation stems from all criminal activity that fell down at a George Floyd protest at the Scottsdale Fashion Square shopping mall back in May.
Paul was first accused of a crime for his alleged role in the incident, but that prosecutor was dropped.

The FBI has now taken over the probe into Paul – although they have not specifically said what he is accused of doing wrong.
Meanwhile, we are told that Jake’s energy has been channeled into boxing training … constantly worked out in recent days.
Our sources also say that Jake is trying to limit communication with friends outside of his boxing team.
He has also re-evaluated his friendships to cut out negative influences.
We are told that Jake also broke ties with former friend Armani Izadi – whose home in Vegas was also raided last week.
As for the fight, Jake and Nate have been talk to each other for months – and it looks like they’re brewing, whether it’s in a ring or in the street.
