Jack Grealish responds to Manchester United transfer links after Aston Villa beat Arsenal

Jack Grealish says he is not quite sure what the future holds for him.

Manchester United are eager to sign the Aston Villa star after an impressive Premier League season for his childhood club.

Tottenham Hotspur has also been associated with the 24-year-old, but United is the favorite to sign him.

Grealish played a key role in Villa’s 1-0 win over Arsenal that raised his hopes of survival and, after the match, Sky Sports asked him if it was his last claret and blue game at Villa Park.

The midfielder admitted that he did not know what his future would hold for him, but that he focused on the survival of Villa’s Premier League.

“I’m not quite sure right now,” he said.

“I have one goal and that is to keep this club in the Premier League.”

“This whole stadium and the entire fan base know where we belong.”

“So that’s all I’m thinking about right now, keeping this club in the Premier League, and I hope we can do it on Sunday.”

Grealish, a fan of Villa de la Infancia, says keeping the club in the Premier League would be a proud accomplishment.

He said, “It would mean everything to me.

“Since we came back, it probably hasn’t been as effective as before.

“The pressure is a privilege, my old coach used to tell me that.”

“Since we came back, I probably haven’t felt as fit as I did before the break, but that’s no excuse.”

“I just need to do what I know I can do and I think I did it today, I was unlucky not to get help in the end.”
