2019 was a great year for the Dreamville camp. Not only was Cole coming off an incredible career with KOD but the rest of the list was receiving deserved recognition. Today marks the first anniversary of the launch of Revenge of the dreamers III; a compilation album that has withstood the test of time and has made many year-end charts.

To commemorate the anniversary, the good folks at Dreamville left behind some behind-the-scenes footage from the recording sessions that never made the documentary itself. The 10-minute video includes some candid images of J. Cole blocked leaving some bars in an informal freestyle.

A year ago we released Revenge of the Dreamers III. Today, in honor of that, we put together some unpublished images from those legendary sessions. Love to everyone who was part of this album, and the fans they always support, “Ibraham of Dreamville tweeted along with a clip of the footage. In another tweet, he added:” What we did with the sessions and this album will come to life. Forever and I’m always grateful to have been a part of that, but what I liked the most was the ability to use our platform to shed light on a super talented new artist, whether they signed with Dreamville or not. “

Take a look at the unpublished images above.
