J. Cole announces that the first two singles of “The Fall Off” will be released tomorrow at 10pm. It’s time. Although J. Cole’s long-awaited album The fall Has not yet received an official date, it feels like the board has been set. Now, the first pieces have started to move. Cole took to Twitter to announce the imminent arrival of the album’s first two singles, “The Climb Back” and “Lion King On Ice,” which will be released tomorrow night at 10 PM. According to tradition, “The Climb Back” is produced entirely by Cole, although “Lion King On Ice” also features the production of T-Minus and Jetson, whose presence suggests a possible hit. If that wasn’t enough, Cole also provided some possible illustrations, though it’s unclear if the image will serve as the final cover. It’s unlikely, given that the album appears to be still a work in progress. “There’s no date for the album yet, I take my time, I’m still finishing,” Cole writes, and while that could mean a slight delay, it’s nice to see him go for a more methodical approach. In the meantime, though, keep an eye out for the first two singles, her first releases since the controversial “Snow On Tha Bluff.” Check back tomorrow at 10 p.m. EST to watch the opening chapters of The fall.
