The deployment of witnesses as part of the trial has been going on for the past several weeks.
Tom Barrack, chairman of the inaugural committee, was fired on Nov. 17, according to a filing in court.
The attorney general’s office also released records from Barracks, Ivanka Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and former vice chairman of the inaugural committee, Rick Gates.
“Mrs. Trump’s only involvement involved the parties and instructed the hotel to charge ‘fair market rates,'” Lann Garten, the Trump organization’s general adviser, told CNN in a statement.
According to the lawsuit, Gates had a “personally managed” discussion with the Trump Hotel about the event space.
In December 2016, Gates wrote a letter to Ivanka Trump stating that he was “a little concerned about PIC’s optics.” [Presidential Inaugural Committee] According to the lawsuit, Trump pays the hotel a high fee and the media makes a big story out of it.
According to the lawsuit, Gates agreed with the hotel’s managing director and members of the Trump family to pay the committee ચાર 175,000 per day to reserve space for four days.
The lawsuit alleges that the committee’s own event organizer – Stephanie Winston Volkoff – advised the committee and the Trump family against the transaction, saying the charge was at least twice the market rate.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Wolkoff will be fired next week.
