15 characters on the base roster
Giovanna Guilty Gear has been revealed as the latest character of Strive. He is apparently the bodyguard for the US President.
Like Nagoriyuki, Giovanna is a newcomer to the Giltit Gear series. According to the developers, she aims to pick a simple character.
This new character is shown fighting with a green dog or some kind of wolf spirit. Significantly, the two never looked different during gameplay.
Giovanna is especially adept at his kicks. Her trailer almost features her presented kicks or attacks that use the green wolf spirit.
Near the end of the revelation, we were told that the Giltit Gear Strive would start in early 2021 with 15 characters in the base roster. The next character trailer will be released on January 1, 2021.
Based on what was shown, it looks like the 14th character is Mito Anji. Aside from DLC, one more fighter has been revealed for the Guilty Gear Strive.
