Is the Tesla Cybertruck really Bullet proof? Let’s shoot her metal to find out

The Tesla Cybertruck is claimed to be somewhat bulletproof (just the glass, according to Elon Musk), but is it real? Ignore the glass and focus instead on the metal from which the body will be made, will that stop bullets? Of course, there is only one way to find out. Let’s shoot some guns on it and go there with a knife to see how tough the metal is. Will testing it do any harm? What about a hammer?

When the Tesla Cybertruck made its big debut, Tesla CEO Elon Musk demonstrated the ability of the truck to block bullets. Musk referred only to the unique armored glass of the truck, which failed during its debut after being struck by a steel ball, but roughness was and still is an important feature of the Cybertruck.

Next to the glass presented the Cyertruck body panels made of 304 series stainless steel that will apparently become cold wool and harder. Those panels should also be close to inexhaustible, so this video sets out to see if similar metal panels can stop different calibers from bullet shots from different firearms. The video finds the results pretty clear, so watch it to see what happens.

Shooting through gunfire is probably not a common occurrence. However, there are some additional damage tests performed that are much more likely in the real world and those are the results that interest us even more. Will tests scratch the metal, for example? Will a knife damage it? Will a hammer bite it? The results of these tests show us that the metal is extremely durable and quite difficult to damage, which means that the body of the Cybertruck has to endure for a very long time.

Here are some notes on the video above:

Test to see if the Cybertruck is actually bulletproof. It stops a 9mm, but of course the gun round went on. Tests done on a 304 series stainless 3mm thick, cold-rolling, but not hardened Although we do not know if Tesla will use harder, but it would weld problems if they did.

Launch some lead, 22, 9mm, 7.62×54 and see if it can not beat too much by the ex-gf test … testing, cutting and hammering.
