Met Éireann has issued multi-state yellow wind warnings for tomorrow.
Meteorologists say the southerly winds will strengthen with severe and possibly damaging gusts.
Strong and gusty winds are expected from southwest to west in Munster, Leinster and Connacht, with gusts of more than 90 km / h.
The Munster alert is valid from 11 am to 3 pm, the Leinster advisory from 12 pm to 6 pm and the Connacht alert from 3 pm to 6 pm
Meanwhile, there is a warning of strong and gusty winds from south to southwest in Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal tomorrow, with gusts exceeding 90 km / h.
This alert will be in effect from 4 pm to 9 pm
Heavy rains are forecast for tomorrow, merging into longer periods of rain in the west and north, with the risk of hail and isolated thunderstorms.
