Gemma Greene is a 24-year-old woman from Coolock, Dublin, whose Instagram has reached almost seven million people since she left for Spain after her encounter with Gardai.
She admitted to putting her foot down and driving up to 20 garda cars and a helicopter down the M50 from Ballymun to Bray, Co Wicklow, and back on March 1.
Gemma was unmasked as the driver who caused chaos in Dublin earlier this month, posting several photos and videos that appeared to show her at Dublin Airport, and then driving down a motorway heading to Barcelona, Spain, on Monday.
He has nearly 9,000 followers on the social media platforms that he posts regularly.
Speaking about the incident that led to the chase, Greene previously told the Irish Star earlier this month that he only stopped because he was running out of fuel.
“On Monday I was driving off the property and I saw (a) a guard … and he was going to pull me over.
“So I said I’m not going to listen to it today. He didn’t even turn on the blue lights, he didn’t even force me to stop, I just put my foot down and went for it, ”he claimed sensationally.
Ms Greene then led gardai on a high-speed chase down the M50 from Dublin, ending at Bray Co Wicklow, and all the way back to Ballymun on the night of Monday, March 1.
And in a cheeky show to the newspaper, Gemma seemed to take pride in the fact that she was driving faster than the Garda cars that were chasing her.
“I went straight to the M50. But when I went for the M50, I didn’t see two gardai X5 jeeps. So obviously their man got on the radio to come after me.
“So it started from there and went down to Bray and back up.
“So they threw the stinger three times, they tried to get me three times, they couldn’t.
“My car has a 300 brake, so it’s chipped, so it would be faster than any of your cars,” he said.
Ms. Greene arrived at the Hampton Wood Drive area in Ballymun around 6:50 pm, where she was detained, at this point with many garda vehicles surrounding her.
“The only reason I went home was because I was running out of diesel, so I knew I would get home,” he said.
“So when I stopped I went out and raised my arms in the air as if to surrender and then one of the rugby guards tackled me, and then another rugby guard tackled me and three and four more rugby guards tackled me,” She claimed.
“I had to stop the car for them. They weren’t catching me.
“So I was at the police station for a few hours and received two charges of dangerous driving.”
Greene, who was being chased by up to 20 Garda cars and a helicopter, was heard singing to music and taunting police in a live-streamed video of the chase that she posted on her own social media.
But in these latest social media posts, Greene has shown that his page has reached nearly seven million people since he live-streamed his M50 chase and subsequently left the country.
And the Coolock native has blatantly changed her Instagram bio to an emoji sequence of a small car being chased by multiple police cars, in reference to her own chase.

At one point in the video, she is seen throwing what was believed to be a can of deodorant out the window at the Gardai who were following her.
Gardai confirmed that the woman was arrested and taken to Ballymun Garda station, where she was later released and must appear in court “at a later date”.
While a court date has not yet been set and Ms. Greene has not yet been charged before a judge, she will appear in court in connection with the incident, which is still under investigation.
