But we know a lot of details so far …

Mainly, the wet pubs will be closed during the month of December, while the restaurants and bars that serve food may reopen, although it is not clear if this will happen next week or later in the month.

Retail establishments may welcome customers before the holiday season, while golf courses, gyms and leisure centers are also expected to return.

Most of the roads point to Thursday.

The Cabinet is meeting today to discuss the ongoing debate, which follows a meeting of government party leaders on Monday.

The National Public Health Emergency Team is supposed to meet on Thursday before making a recommendation to the Government, but this meeting is believed to be held earlier.

With all of this in mind, the Taoiseach is likely to head out to the nation on Thursday night, also so as not to interfere with Friday’s iconic Late Late Toy Show.

But sadly this has yet to be confirmed, and some sources indicate that a statement could be made on Friday afternoon.

For the most part, a return to level three, with possible additional rules.

As mentioned above, the Government will allow non-essential retail stores, such as clothing stores and toy stores, to open starting next week.

As the Irish Mirror reported Monday, restaurants and pubs with gourmet kitchens will be allowed to return to business at some point during the month.

Gyms, golf courses and leisure centers are also expected to reopen.

But the Taoiseach indicated that strict rules about home visiting could be maintained.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, he said: “What has emerged is the measure in restricting homes after it was introduced during Level Three appears to have had an impact, so we need to take that into account as we move forward. December.

“Level Three and the restriction of homes that we brought in and then Level Five worked and has worked.

“There has been a narrative around this that I don’t think is useful or accurate, it has worked, we reduced the numbers.”

There is talk that a county-wide travel ban, as seen with previous Level Three measures, will be in effect for most of the month, but will be relaxed during Christmas week so people can travel home. .

Rumors are also circulating in government buildings that the cabinet could introduce rules in stages.

This could see retail open as planned next week, while food-serving pubs and restaurants could return in the middle of the month.
