A wind advisory has been issued for St. Stephen’s Day on the west coast of Ireland.
The warning is due to Storm Bella, which is forecast to bring gusts of 90 to 110 kilometers per hour.
It covers all of Connacht, as well as Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick counties and will go into effect at noon on Saturday, December 26.
The warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Sunday morning.
Storm Bella has been appointed by the UK Met Office.
A national Amber severe weather advisory has been issued for parts of South Wales and across southern England, with gusts expected to reach 90-110km / h in exposed coastal locations.
A yellow wind warning has also been issued for all of England and Wales, as well as the southern tip of Scotland, which will be in effect from 3pm on St. Stephen’s Day.
It came when homes and businesses were flooded and dozens of people were rescued from vehicles after heavy rains fell yesterday.
