Aidan O’Shea was caught off guard by a classic joke recently when youngsters fooled May star GAA with a hilarious joke.
The Green and Red captain took to Instagram to show the hilarious moment when a group of children rang his doorbell and ran.
In the video, O’Shea opens the door after the mischievous pranksters are out of sight and is seen looking up and down the street.
Joking about the joke, O’Shea said, “Oh, to be young again!”
The classic joke has been passed down from generation to generation, and many will recall pulling similar jokes in their youthful days.
It comes as the May Star looks forward to another final for Ireland against Dublin.
O’Shea played as a full forward last weekend when he scored five goals over Munster champions Tipperary in the Irish semi-final to reach his first decisive match since 2017.
And meeting old rivals in Dublin, the two sides will renew hostilities on December 19 at Croke Park.
However, no fans will be allowed and the Sam Maguire Cup will remain in the stadium after the game is played as the GAA seeks to avoid large social gatherings around the winning team during the Covid-19 pandemic.
