Excitement abounds as kids across the country are counting down the days for this year’s Late Late Toy Show.
While Covid-19 has stopped a lot of things, RTE host Ryan Tubridy has assured Irish children that this year’s show will continue despite the pandemic.
The beloved host has been teasing plans for this year’s show for the past few weeks as the preparations progress.
And finally RTE has released the official trailer for Late Late Toy Show 2020, which is as emotional as you would expect.
Speaking on this year’s show, Tubs said: “It’s been a very strange year, and that’s why this Christmas is so important. It’s also why this year’s Late Late Toy Show is arguably the biggest of all time. “.

“We’re going to be singing, we’re going to dance, we’re going to play with toys, and we’re going to have tons of fun. We need you to get together and join us, and let’s do Christmas, Christmas!”
The emotional trailer tells the story of a young woman named Eva who, like everyone else, is trapped at home.
Eva misses her friends, friends with whom she usually wears her pajamas to watch the show. Her worried brother, Rob, goes to great lengths on the family farm to make sure Eva and her friends can be together to experience the magic of The Late Late Toy Show, just like every year.
As Eva, Rob and their friends watch from their cars, Ryan appears on the barn wall and says, “We have never needed a Christmas like this before, we are going to make this year’s Late Toy Show the biggest, the best, the brightest. So put your feet up, get out the popcorn, sit back and enjoy, the party starts here. ”
