The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, claims she was “stretched out” when she visited a room and was captured on video without a face mask.
Pelosi was in San Francisco when she visited a salon for a hair appointment.
In the images aired by Fox News, which were leaked by the salon owner, Pelosi is seen walking through the salon with wet hair and her mask around her neck.
But at a press conference, he told reporters that he trusted the hairdresser who told him he could come in, even though the salon owner said restrictions have prevented the salon from reopening properly.
Pelosi said, “I take responsibility to take the word of a ward salon that I have been to many times over the years.
“When they said, we can accommodate one person at a time, and we can set it up at that time, I trusted that.

She later added, “I think the salon owes me an apology,” and addressing the reason why she didn’t wear a mask, she said, “I just had my hair washed. I don’t wear a mask when washing my hair.
“I always have a mask. For me, for the people I meet, but also for my family. But I don’t wear it when I wash my hair.”
California guidelines for salons vary by town or city, but San Francisco officials currently do not allow interior salons to reopen.
Salon owner Erica Kious told Fox News that a hairdresser, who rents a chair at her salon, informed her that Pelosi’s assistant had approached her for a date.
She said, “I was like, ‘Are you kidding me now? Do I let this happen? What do I do?’
“It was a slap in the face that he walked in, you know, that he feels like he can go and do his thing while no one else can come in, and I can’t work.
“We’re supposed to admire this woman, right? It’s just disturbing.”

Donald Trump weighed in on the debate, saying his administration would “send Nancy packing.”
He tweeted: “Crazy Nancy Pelosi is being decimated for having an open salon, when everyone else is closed, and for not wearing a mask, despite constantly lecturing everyone else. We will almost certainly get her back! Camera and we’ll send Nancy to pack! “
