Dana White has told Conor McGregor to call him if he needs help or advice following his arrest for alleged sexual assault and indecent exposure.

The Dubliner was arrested after an alleged incident in a Corsican bar and was questioned by the police.

He has since been released without charge.

McGregor denies all allegations, with his representative telling TMZ Sports: “Conor McGregor vigorously denies any allegations of misconduct.

“He has been interviewed and released.”

Speaking after the UFC event in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday morning, White said: “I don’t know enough about the Conor situation, I know what you’ve read. I’ve read the same things.

“Conor is retired, I haven’t spoken to him. I’m sure he doesn’t need my help or advice, but if he does, he can call.”

The UFC president went on to say, “One time when Conor blew up and Conor was huge, he showed up once at the scene with such security that I thought this was fucking ridiculous, nobody needs that much security. This kid is going to spend all his money on security.

“So me and Lorenzo [Fertitta] I met him one night and shit, you don’t understand how great this guy is until you date him.

“He was literally being harassed. People were going crazy, yelling, jumping off the blackjack tables, leaving their money there and running after Conor. It was crazy. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

He added: “Crazy things happen when you’re in that kind of lifestyle.

“I’m not defending Conor in any shape or form. I don’t know enough about the situation to talk about it at all.

“What I do know is that I’ve dated him publicly before, and he’s a bat shit.”

McGregor was scheduled to compete in a 180km water-cycling race from Corsica to Monaco on Saturday, but was forced to withdraw.

McGregor has spent several weeks in the area while preparing for the charity event.

He also attended the start of the Tour de France last month alongside the Princess and Prince Albert II.

McGregor has also joined his fiancee Dee Devlin after the wrestler proposed to his long-term girlfriend over the summer.

The Dubliner hasn’t fought since he beat Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds in January.

His plans to fight three times this year were shattered by the coronavirus crisis and he retired in June for the third time in four years.

But he had hinted at a comeback this week when it emerged that he is still in the USADA testing pool and was asked to take a drug test while on his € 3 million yacht.
