Two arrested for seizure of illegal drugs worth more than 50,000 euros in Dublin

Two people have been arrested after gardai seized a total of € 53,000 worth of drugs in Dublin.

Officers found 47,000 euros worth of diazepam pills (d10s) and 6,000 euros worth of cannabis while searching for an address in the Ringsend area yesterday.

The arrests came as part of ongoing intelligence operations targeting drug trafficking networks by An Garda Síochána in collaboration with the Revenue Customs Service.




A man and a woman, in their 20s, are currently detained at Irishtown Garda Station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
