A horned Donald Trump supporter whose photo went viral during the riots in the US Capitol has been arrested and charged.

Jacob Anthony Chansley, who goes by the name Jake Angeli, is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any building or restricted land without legal authority, and of violent entry and disorderly conduct on the Capitol grounds.

The self-described “shaman” QAnon of Arizona was arrested today.

Chansley is alleged to have been identified as the man seen in media coverage who entered the Capitol building wearing horns and a bearskin headdress. He was shirtless, with red, white and blue face paint.

He carried a six-foot spear with an American Stars and Stripes flag attached just below the blade.

His appearance led to the hashtag Jamiroquai becoming a trend on social media after comparisons between the protester and the ’90s pop group.

Their leader Jay Kay was forced to deny it was him participate in riots.

Police also arrested another man who achieved worldwide notoriety after he was photographed carrying the Speaker of the House of Representatives podium in the Capitol riots.

Adam Christian Johnson was booked into the Pinellas County Jail in his home state of Florida on Friday.

The 36-year-old had been quickly identified on social media, and then his local newspaper, the Bradenton Herald, discovered that he was from Parrish, a small community about 25 miles (40 km) south of the city of Tampa, where Police officers Find it.

And West Virginia Republican politician Derrick Evans joined them.

The 35-year-old newly elected member of the West Virginia House of Delegates was broadcasting live on Facebook as he and other protesters made their way to one of the Capitol entrances with Trump flags and posters.

You were charged with one count of knowingly entering or remaining in any building or restricted land without legal authorization; and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on the Capitol grounds.

The FBI had been asking for the public’s help in identifying the rioters who stormed the Capitol, and for the people who planted homemade bombs nearby.

Some of the 68 people arrested after Wednesday’s riots appeared in court Thursday on charges of trespassing, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest or carrying an unregistered firearm.

But there are still some that haven’t been located yet, so the FBI made a public appeal – and offered rewards for information on missing suspects.

Five people were killed in Wednesday’s riots, including a Capitol Hill police officer.
