In a statement, Doneraile GAA said it was with “extreme sadness” that they reported the passing of Darragh Sheehan from Horseclose in the city to club members.
“Darragh played at all levels in the youth and adult club with success at the youth level. He was a great team player and he always played the game with great pride and gave 100%. He was a player who always wore the club’s jersey with pride. Everyone at Doneraile GAA will miss him very much. “
Doneraile’s father Aiden Crowley said Mr. Sheehan’s family was “heartbroken” over his sudden loss.
“We have said prayers for them this morning and there will be prayers tonight. The funeral will be on Wednesday.
They are heartbroken. “
Darragh is survived by his parents Tom and Hannah, his brothers Kevin and Fiona, and his fiancee Karen.
You will rest at home from 16:00 to 20:00 tomorrow (Tuesday). Her burial will take place on Wednesday in the town.

Mr. Sheehan was a student at Nagle Rice High School in Doneraile. He was employed by the EPS Group in Mallow.
