Ties with teams like Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have dried up in the last two seasons with their return on goal falling.
However, after showing his best form again for Torino last season, it seems Tottenham is now interested in bringing the 26-year-old, who has 28 appearances for Italy, to north London.
In a short report from Sky Sport Italia According to reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham has launched a loan offer “with option to buy” for 50 million euros.
Di Marzio adds that Torino “has informed Spurs that he intends to consider only offers for a final sale” and that the offer has been “returned to sender.”
