The third day of the Leopardstown holiday reunion, and the hits just keep coming. The Savills Chase, with hardly a credible number of racers and some top-class horses on display, is the highlight. The Christmas Hurdle sees some legitimate contenders for Stayers’ Hurdle’s crown lock horns.

Indigo Breeze ran into a smart guy on her fence arc at Fairyhouse. He looked everywhere at the winner that day. That experience will not escape you here. The step forward in travel promises to adapt. Time will probably tell that Gaillard Du Mesnil also faced a tough task on his hurdles debut.
Selection: Indigo Breeze 3-1

The Chiefs Oscar seems to have many advantages. He has run well at the beginning in handicap grade. He was unlucky at the Cheltenham Festival, and a couple of sloppy jumps didn’t help last time at Navan. If you jump better here, this unexposed guy should go really close. Morosini seems to be building towards maximum effort and has scope on this journey.
Selection: Chiefs Oscar 11-2

Fury Road and Sire Du Berlais are horses that go places. Both are highly respected, but at the prices, it seems like The Storyteller is worth a change in every way. His form is closely related to Sire Du Berlais and his latest hurdles victory at Down Royal suggests that he has improved. This versatile guy should have no problem returning to smaller obstacles.
Selection: The 9-1 narrator

A complicated puzzle. Despite the large field, there are not many obviously well-disabled horses on display. The quick answer could be an exception. He has certainly improved to go chasing. However, fences may not be the only reason. She is rated 19 pounds less than the obstacles and I could say that here. Arctic Light is likely to have a misplaced day.
Selection: Quick response 11-2
2.25 Savills Chase
Minella Indo seems like a worthy favorite. He was unlucky in last season’s RSA Rookie Chase at Cheltenham. He has sported a more relaxed horse in two chase starts this quarter. His tactical versatility should come in handy in a career with few obvious leaders. Gordon Elliot still has time to realize Presenting Percy’s potential, but defending champion Delta Work is the most feared.
Selection: Minella Indo 11-4
3.00 Ballymaloe Foods Beginner Chase
The Big Getaway was bitterly disappointing in the chase’s debut at Navan. However, it is possible to make excuses. A kiss on landing after the first, and a stumble approaching the second, may have unsettled him. He ran at a very high level over fences and his physique screams hunter. Sempo was another to suffer a mishap in his pursuing bow. It is still a horse of certain potential.
Selection: The Great Getaway 8-11
3.35 Midland Legal Solicitors INH Flat Race
With Ramillies having a bit to prove and Hamundarson proving to be moderate, this may present an opportunity for one of the lesser stables to shine. Unbreakable Bond cost a lot after finishing second at one point to another. You are sure to be well prepared by the connections heading into this meeting.
Selection: Unbreakable Bond 15-2
