Thieves loot Canada Goose store in Dublin, stealing clothes worth thousands

These images capture the shocking aftermath of a crush and raid on the popular Grafton Street Canada Goose fashion store.

The high-end outlet that sells designer clothing, including jackets that can cost more than 1,000 euros each, was apparently taken down by thieves in the early hours of this morning.

The store’s front door was slammed open and an eyewitness said it looked like it had been “ripped off the hinges.”

Another eyewitness, who was one of the first people on the scene, watched Dublin City workers sweep away the remains of the door as store workers watched.

“The jackets in the store are usually in place with a wire lock. I recently bought one for my partner and some retailers are over € 1,000 per jacket,” he said.

“There was a road sweeper unit from Dublin City cleaning the broken glass all over the street,” he added.

Gardaí is searching for the culprits behind the crush and grab, but a full investigation has been launched, they said.
