A two-year-old boy who disappeared with his mother a year ago was found, a judge said.
Last month, Judge Peel made an urgent appeal for help in finding Emmanuel Biendarra.
The boy was thought to have been taken abroad by his mother, Kristina Nobis, after he came to stay with her for a weekend.
His parents are separated and he was living with his father in Kent when he disappeared late last year.
The judge, who is based in the Family Division of the High Court in London, oversees the private hearings focused on Emmanuel.
He said at a hearing Thursday that Emmanuel had been found in Germany and was back in Britain.
Speaking at the time, Emmanuel’s father said: “I am devastated by the sudden disappearance of Emmanuel.
“I am very concerned for his safety and I urge anyone who knows something to come forward and help.”
