TEMPERATURES ARE SET to drop below freezing tonight, but it will stay dry in most places.
Met Éireann has said that the lingering downpours will soon die out, and that there will be some light rain or drizzle affecting the Southwest for an early evening time.
Patches of frost and isolated fog will form in long, clear periods and light winds. Minimum temperatures will generally be between minus one and plus three degrees Celsius, but five to seven degrees in the southwest.
Tomorrow will be a dry day overall, save for a few scattered light showers in Ulster in the morning. It will be a bright and cool day with sun and maximum temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees.
Tomorrow night is expected to be dry, calm, cold and mostly clear with lower temperatures ranging from minus two to plus two degrees. Some frost will form, along with fog and patches of fog.
Sunday will be cool and cool with frost and any mist or mist clearing early in the day.
