A teenager has tragically died and three others have suffered serious injuries after a traffic accident in Donegal.
The accident involving two cars occurred in the Milford area Tuesday night.
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene around 9.35pm on the N56 in Creeslough.
A passenger in one of the cars, a 19-year-old man, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
The driver and a second passenger in the car, both male and 20-year-old, were taken by ambulance to Letterkenny Hospital.
The driver of the second car, a man in his 50s, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A Garda spokesperson said: | The scene is currently preserved for examination by Garda forensic collision investigators and the road at the crash site is closed to traffic. There are local deviations.
“The local coroner has been notified of the incident.
“Gardaí is asking for witnesses to come forward. He is also appealing to road users with camera footage (including the dash cam) along the route at that time to make it available to them.
