A teenage girl was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car in Co Carlow.
The incident occurred on Burrin Road in the town of Carlow around 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
She was treated for her injuries on the spot and taken to St. Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí attended a single vehicle rtc involving a car and a pedestrian that occurred on Burrin Road, Carlow, at approximately 4pm yesterday afternoon, Thursday, December 24, 2020.
“A woman in her teens (pedestrian) was treated at the scene by paramedics.”
