Gardai is on the hunt for a pair of robbers who attacked a woman in a North Dublin shopping center while collecting items during the lockdown.

The robbery victim had her purse removed from her purse while walking across the green at the Charlestown Mall in Finglas on Wednesday.

It is understood that a young woman and a young man blocked the shopper, cornering her before snatching her purse.

The couple were wearing masks at the time of the incident and fled the scene when Gardai was called.
