Dublin prosecutors have seized more than € 1.4 million worth of drugs.
The massive 71kg find of herbal cannabis was made on Friday as part of an intelligence-led operation.
The drugs were discovered with the help of detector dog Robbie during a raid on a premises in Coolock.
The search was carried out as part of a joint operation involving the Revenue Customs Service and the Garda National Office for Drugs and Organized Crime, which targets the illegal activities of organized crime groups.
A spokesperson said: “Last Friday (09/10/2020), as part of an intelligence-led operation, Treasury officials seized almost 71 kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of more than 1.4 million euros.
“The illegal drugs were discovered with the help of the detector dog Robbie after a search, under court order, at a location in the Coolock area of Dublin.
“The joint operation was carried out by the Revenue Customs Service and the Garda National Office for Drugs and Organized Crime.
“Investigations are ongoing.
