WHAT. A. FINISH.
Wales have been denied the Grand Slam tonight, with France scoring last two attempts to come out with what seemed like an unlikely victory.
Wales led most of the game, and it looked like they were on the verge of victory when they held a ten point lead after France sent off a man with 13 minutes to go.

However, there would be more drama.
The Welsh became incredibly cynical in their game, trying to slow down the game as much as possible. They received two yellow cards as a result. Despite this, France was still ten points down with five minutes to go.
Then they activated the magic.
The first attempt came after they hit the opposition line through a large number of phases, and Charles Ollivon finally collapsed.

It seemed like they had wasted their chance after touching in some phases after the resulting kickoff, but they would have one last chance after receiving a penalty.
From here they launched a brilliant attack, eventually making use of the extra man by finding a man in an acre of wing space.
AMAZING! 🤯

This result not only denied Wales the Grand Slam, but they may not win the championship at all.
An extra points victory for France against the Scots next week would see them crowned champions. Based on this game, you would definitely like them to do the job.
