Ryan Tubridy has announced that actor Gabriel Byrne and tenor Andrea Bocelli will be among his guests at the Late Late Show on RTÉ One on Friday night.
Irish screen legend Byrne will discuss the reasons behind writing his revealing autobiography at the age of 70.
Fans of the Italian singer Bocelli are promised “a very special interpretation of a beloved song.” There will also be music on the night from The Coronas, who will perform their latest single.
Talk show host Conan O’Brien will join the Late afternoon to talk about “his proud Irish heritage, his blockbuster podcast and whether Donald Trump is a guest he might want to interview in the future.”
Immunologist professor Luke O’Neill will be at the study to discuss the latest developments in the Covid vaccine.
Ryan Tubridy will meet with Lily Collison to learn about her involvement in the success of Stripe’s founders John and Patrick Collison. He will also share how the younger brother of the siblings, Tommy, overcame adversity.
On the occasion of the centenary of Bloody Sunday next weekend, the Late afternoon studio will house part of the Croke Park museum exhibit. The bloody field author Michael Foley will take viewers through the events of that day and their impact.
