Tommy Tiernan’s show returned to the screens once again this week as the comedian welcomed a host of interesting guests.

This week, Navan’s joker’s first guest was Guinness World Record holder and visually impaired runner, Dr. Sinead Kane, who immediately wowed onlookers.

Sinead made a memorable entry into the show after he immediately surprised Tommy by admitting that he wasn’t necessarily a huge fan of his some time ago.

But she admitted that she has since liked her for her “ compassion, ” which she has shown by hosting.

The Cork woman spoke openly and honestly about how her visual impairment has affected her throughout her life in a captivating interview that left viewers in awe.

Sinead shared her journey as a record runner and the challenges associated with her blindness.

But the interview took a particularly poignant turn when Sinead spoke of the horrors of being bullied for her disability as a child, as well as her love life and the prospects for future children.

Naturally, Sinead’s honesty moved viewers.

One wrote on social media: “Absolutely delighted to see Sinead Cane speaking to Tommy Tiernan tonight. She is an absolute legend and a really lovely lady too.

Another added: “The first time I saw the Tommy Tiernan show, I was never a fan of him as a comedian, but it’s unreal on the Tommy Tiernan show! His interview with @ blind777 It was unreal, what an amazing lady!
