RTE viewers were “ridiculously delighted” with the Late Late Show country special when Una Healy opened the show.

Iconic musician Dolly Parton will appear on the show later tonight.

The country legend will talk about his parents’ profound influence on his music and the ups and downs of his long career.

He will also talk about writing classics, such as I Will Always Love You, and his lasting friendship with country star Margo O’Donnell.

Earlier this week, Ryan expressed his excitement that Dolly Parton was joining the Late Late Show lineup.
