“It never crossed my mind, and I wasn’t a bad-looking young man. It never crossed my mind that the best thing I could do was find the most marriageable perspective. I had a freer spirit than that.”

Anne added that despite falling in love on many occasions, she never had the desire to marry and have children.

She said: “I guess like most of the people I fell in love with here and there along the way, I was never lucky enough to fall in love with someone who was a disastrous human being, quite the opposite. I was always quite lucky.

When Tommy asked her at what age she made the decision not to marry, Anne replied that she was “in her early thirties.”

She said: “That makes it sound quite clinical and very seriously thought out. I could reverse that thinking and tell you that many women in particular have this problem from what is described generally and not particularly attractive as the ticking of the clock. biological.

“I say this with respect because it is a very important consideration for women. A man can drift away and decide at 75 where a woman may not be able to.

“I just didn’t have that, so it wasn’t a problem for me. Why? I have no idea. In every way that I know of and judging by how my life has turned out, I never had any reason.” to question it. I am definitely a pure-blooded woman. “
