A waste truck is blocking a road in Dublin this morning after it rolled over, scattering rubbish along a busy route.
The Dublin Fire Brigade is on the scene, after the HGV capsized following a collision with a car in Liffey Valley near the Hermitage Medical Clinic under the N4 at around 11:22 am this morning.
Traffic restrictions have been introduced in the area as officials attempt to clear the scene. No injuries have been reported.
AA Roadwatch reports that at the N4 entrance, the ramp at Junction 2 is blocked by the truck with slow traffic in the busy passenger area.
Photographs of the incident show garbage strewn across parts of the road, as a member of the Dublin Fire Brigade cleans the underside of the truck.
A Dublin City Council spokesperson confirmed that three fire trucks and an ambulance arrived at the scene.

“The patients were evaluated at the scene and the incident was handed over to gardaí. Traffic diversions are in place, ”the spokesperson said.
Members of the Dublin Fire Brigade are currently on the scene.
It is currently unclear how long it will take to remove the truck and clean the garbage.
