Many pubs have warned that they will not be able to reopen their doors under drastic measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus, because they do not have the resources to get dizzy for months.

Some restaurants and cafes may start serving people very slowly in July if they have the space, but many will have to remain closed long after.

Boris Johnson said: “By July at the latest … we hope to reopen at least part of the hotel industry and other public places, provided they are safe and reinforce social distancing.”

“Throughout this period of the next two months, we will not be driven by mere hope or economic need.

“We will be guided by science, data, and public health.”

It is feared that many pubs and restaurants will not reopen the green light until fall.

He added: “And I must emphasize again that all this is conditional, it all depends on a series of big ‘yes’.

“It is up to all of us, across the country, to follow advice, observe social distancing, and keep that R (transmission rate) low.”

Johnson recognized the incredible suffering of the hotel industry.

He said: “We must also recognize that this campaign against the virus has had a colossal cost for our way of life.”

“We can see him all around us in closed stores and abandoned businesses and dark pubs and restaurants.”

In a video message, the Prime Minister:

  • British urged to return to work if unable to leave home
  • Revealed Brits Could Sunbathe In Parks And Play Unlimited Sports Starting Wednesday, And Can Take Day Trips
  • He said that anyone who enters the country by air would be forced to quarantine
  • Schools will start backing down from June, but only if the level of infection is low enough.
  • But he warned that pubs, cinemas and mass gatherings would be out of the game in the coming months.

Up to four out of ten pubs could completely collapse under the Prime Minister’s triphasic plan to reopen Britain.

The British Beer & Pub Association predicted last week that 19,000 of 47,000 boozers would never reopen.

It would leave 320,000 people out of work.

Even with £ 25,000 government grants, many pubs won’t have enough cash to get them back once they’re allowed to reopen.

The Prime Minister warned that it could be even later than if the world race to find a vaccine were unsuccessful.

Under the three-phase plan, some cafes and restaurants that have outdoor tables and can keep diners two meters away will be able to reopen in July, only if the other measures, including reopening of schools, do not cause coronavirus cases for soar.

If the virus transmission rate is too high when the government tries to ease the blockade, the prime minister warned that they will not hesitate to send the British to stricter conditions.

To assess how strict the measures must be, No10 has created five alert levels as part of the new plan.

Tier one means the disease is no longer present in the UK and tier five means the nation is in the midst of a second fatal spike in the disease in which the NHS could be overwhelmed by cases.

The UK is currently at level four, the prime minister said, and will start moving towards level three, where the situation is less serious.

The prime minister stressed that this week’s focus would be getting people who were unable to work from home to return to work, by telling construction and manufacturing workers to return to the sites.

The second step will begin to get children back to classrooms, a key part of getting parents back to the offices once they can.

But while outdoor exercise and leisure activity will be limitless and limitless starting Wednesday, many of Brits’ favorite hobbies will remain locked up.
