Paul Mescal has shared his hopes for 2021, saying that the most important thing he hopes is “that everyone’s health does not feel compromised or in danger.”
The Normal People star mentioned trips to the movies, a return to the theater, and a chance to work more safely as things she’s hopeful for next year, but health is her top priority.
“I really want to work. To work safely,” he told Digital Spy. “I look forward to the opportunity to go back to a theater, go to the movies and feel safe.”
“I’m looking forward to it, it sounds so basic, but I hope everyone’s health doesn’t feel compromised or in danger,” he continued.
“I think it is something very important and it is very difficult to discuss anything other than that.
“What I’m really looking forward to in terms of experience, it all has to do with the arts. I can’t wait to go see a concert. I can’t wait to go see my friends at the theater. I can not wait to go to the movies .
“I’m very excited to share, hopefully soon, what I’m going to work on next year, and for people to see it too.”
Mescal also spoke about working with Oscar winner Olivia Colman and said that she is “the greatest of the greatest” and that there were many “pinch yourself” moments on set.
Speaking of social distancing rules on set, he said, “You can put 10 masks on me and I’ll be totally fine.”
