A notorious Dublin drug gang was attacked as part of a massive operation by the Office of Criminal Assets.
The Organized Crime Group had large amounts of cash and cars seized and frozen following a staggering 14 CAB searches in Dublin this morning.
As part of these raids, several residential homes, a sports club, several commercial premises – one of which is a car dealership – dental businesses and four professional registries were carried out.
During the undercover operation, agents seized € 13,200, while € 35,921 was frozen in a bank account.

In addition to this, CAB seized several BMW and Ford vehicles and records were also uncovered in connection with a number of major property transactions.
The CABs were assisted by the Emergency Response Unit and the Customs Dog Unit during the early morning wake-up call from the drug gang.
A CAB spokesperson told Dublin Live: “This morning’s operation targeted an organized crime group involved in drug trafficking.
“In addition to targeting the assets linked to the OCG, the operation also targeted the means used by the OCG to launder the proceeds of crime.”
He added: “Today’s operation marks a significant advance in the proceeds of the crime investigation.”
