There will be widespread severe frosts with ice in many areas tonight as temperatures drop to between -3C and + 1C.

Thursday night will be cold and mostly dry with clear spells and widespread severe frost. Friday will continue to be cold and sunny during the day and with widespread severe frost on Friday night.
