Niall Horan has said he was “too sick” to perform on the Graham Norton Show this week.

In an update on his social media, the Mullingar singer said he was not ready to perform on weekdays.

However, he apologized to his fans and hopes to return to the show soon.

Niall said on Twitter: “Sorry I couldn’t make an appearance on @grahnort guys.

“The show was filmed during the week and I was too sick to get involved. If Graham has me back, I will be back soon.”

And fellow Irishman Graham responded by saying that he will be welcome back on the show at any time.

Former One Direction star Niall was supposed to play some of his new songs from the hit album Heartbreak Weather and chat with the host.

Horan didn’t say what exactly was wrong with him, but today he shared an Instagram image of him basking in the sun and appears to be recovering.

The hitmaker has spent his time in Los Angeles and London during the coronavirus pandemic and has provided fans with live performances on his social media accounts.

He also appeared on RTE’s The Late Late Show in recent weeks.
