Motorcycle Gunman Explodes Teen in Horror Shootout in North Dublin

A young man was injured after a shooting in north Dublin tonight.

The man, who is understood to be in his late teens, was shot in the chest and leg in the Primrose Grove area of ​​Darndale shortly after 9 p.m.

The gunman is believed to have been riding a motorcycle that caught fire shortly thereafter.

The teenager later showed up at Beaumont Hospital with gunshot wounds.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Shortly after 9pm, Gardai in Coolock received reports of shots fired in the Darndale area of ​​north Dublin.

“A short time later, a man in his late teens showed up at Beaumont hospital with apparent gunshot wounds. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

“Gardaí has ​​closed two locations in Darndale for a forensic examination. No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact the Coolock Garda station at 01 666 4200 on the confidential Garda 1800 666 111 line.”
